GENERAL POINTS ABOUT MY CLASSES
- If you think you might feel self-conscious in a class environment, please be assured that my classes are friendly and welcoming.
- I am insured to teach from age 14 upwards.
- All new students are given a “Welcome Pack” which contains lots of useful information including what to wear for belly dance classes. The Welcome Pack folder is also useful for keeping other handouts I occasionally give students during.
- No special level of fitness is required. Please remember, you are learning a dance form rather than a fitness skill, so each student can work at a pace to suit their own body.
- If you have a medical condition, which may affect your ability to partake in a belly dance class, it is essential to inform me about this condition and it would also be wise to take advice from your GP (General Practitioner) beforehand.
- One of the many benefits of attending my classes is to be meeting up with like-minded people. Many of my students have developed great friendships with others attending my classes.
Private Tuition
Private tuition can be an ideal solution for those students who maybe unable to get to weekly classes because of shift work or family commitments or perhaps those who don’t wish to be in a class environment. Private tuition can be in your own home or at mine whichever is most convenient and you don’t have to make a commitment to a lesson every week or every month, so the arrangement can be quite flexible. I carry out most private tuition during weekdays in term time when my son is at school. If I come to you, I do ask for a nominal contribution to my travel costs depending on the distance I have travelled.Private Tuition Fees
Fee for teaching privately - 1 person £20.00 per hourFee for teaching privately - 2 people £15.00 per hour

Performance Opportunities
I encourage, but never pressurise, all students to perform belly dance at events such as village fetes and fairs and other similar events, as soon as I feel they are ready to do so. This will normally be in a group format with other students from my classes. I usually arrange rehearsals a few days or so before a performance so that those involved can practise together and go over final details.
I have bookings to perform at the following events in 2008:
